Commemoration

 

 

                            Hi, friends.  I'm Teddy, 

                                        and I live with my Mom and Dad in Wilmington, Delaware.  

                I adopted them after the nice people at Delaware Valley Bichon Rescue took good care of me when my first family had to let me go. 

 I think I landed in a good place and pretty much am the king around here! 

Speaking of being "king," here I am getting ready to help Mom when she had hip surgery a couple of years ago. 

I was her main 'coach,' with a little

support from Dad. 

Dad works pretty hard keeping me looking my best, even though I don't always fully appreciate it.

 

I'm a really good boy about using my ramp, as you can see here. 

It helps keep my joints from getting jostled.  I do sometimes forget, and then Dad 'trains' me with treats....tee hee....it's a great way to get treats!! 

 

One of my hobbies is playing with my ballie. 

Here you can see me waiting patiently for Mom to throw it for me.  She can be very very slow.  

 

One time, me and Mom were in a dress-up competition. 

You can see us here in our matching outfits, plus a Hawaiian dress-up doggie in the background, with her Mom.

 

After we finally play with the ballie, then it's time for some belly rubs.

 

And here we are in another set of matching outfits.  As you can see, we won a prize for our excellence. 

 

Me and my humans go on some nice vacations - driving to interesting places. 

 

 Here is Mom giving me a drink of water while we stopped for a rest last summer.

                                 

I have to be on constant alert, when we are traveling.   As you can see in this picture, I'm watching out for danger

as Dad sets up our picnic beside a lake in New Hampshire.

 

I'm a key member of the team on our trips.

And, friends, after all that traveling - this is really what I like best.....resting right here at home

- in my Daddy's study, on the sofa where I spend most of my days while he works.

I hope you have enjoyed this brief look at some of my adventures and activities.  It is so nice of Daisy and Willy to give me a chance to share all this with you.
